LEADING OR MANAGING?

The Heart of Evangelism

Hey! I really want to blog about this topic!
I feel that it's really important to evangelize to unsaved people! Some Christians think that hey why should I? it's so hard!!!

But if they can see the BIG picture, this task/mission is very important! We're going to save people from going to hell and bring the love of God into them. Now, you may say that's so hard. But if you really look into it, is it really that hard? some people are just so irritating? ha don't forget, Jesus died for these people that you have labeled "SO IRRITATING!!!". Everyone has their weak and bad points, just that your's has not been revealed yet...

If Jesus can forgive them, why not you? I believe that He loves them too! and hence the reason that He died for them. We all have to be Big! if you say some people are bad, but do you know why they're bad? it may be because they do not have the proper teaching, so be very thankful that you're not like them, but don't do just that, bring them to Christ! So that God can teach and change their hearts! Even some of our church's leaders used to be very bad! But look at them now? ha they're so on fire for Jesus! I'm sure there are people in your school or maybe even in your class; there's someone that has the potential to be another Charleston or Garrett!

So go all out and evangelise!!! You'll never know who you'll bring!

DISCIPLINE

INCOME LEVELS

HEY!!! I'm blogging again ha, I just came back from the Red Rain concert!! and it was awesome! I got to meet them face to face before and after the concert! cool right?! haha I really enjoyed the concerts! And I can't wait for next year when they come back to Singapore!!!! wow! ha it's been like two months since last blogged!!! Well....haha BACK I AM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MUAHAHAH!!!
I feel that last month, 16 to 18 March when I went to the Bintan Mission Trip, I really felt that I grew to another level spiritually.

Seeing all the Orphans and all made my heart really cry out to them I felt so sorry for them as most of them are abandoned by their parents. As I prayed for them, I cried as well.

And I had a GREAT time during the concerts! I'VE NEVER PERSPIRED SO MUCH IN MY WHOLE LIFE LAH!!! HAHA my whole t-shit was WET!!!! WAHAHA!!!

I also had alot of fun in my hotel room with my leader Gabriel!!!! haha we went high and sort of made fun with the room service operater haha and ate ice-cream at 2am in the morning!!! haha

I felt that this trip was really a wonderful and fruitful trip!!! And I'm also looking forward to the next mission trip next year!!

Boiling Point

When you boil water in the kettle, when the water boils, the kettle will start 'screaming' right? hah when we face persecution from all our friends and scoldings from our parents for being a Christian, what's your boiling point? when than will u start screaming, 'WAH!!! cant take it alrdy lah!!! I want to backslide!!', to be a strong Christian, we all got to be like an iron, have a HIGH boiling point!! I was listening to Pst Phil's message disk on the MRT today, and when I heard him say that, I felt that that phrase just struck me, and I can feel God asking me, 'what's your boiling point? you want to be a strong Christian and rise up? what's your boiling point? only if you have a high boiling point, than can I use you mightly in my church.' upon hearing that, i thought to myself, hey, it's about time you start increasing your boiling point to a level where I can take all sorts, all levels of persecution, and still carry on loving God and still be faithful, and not backslide from Him.

YES!!!! for the first time I scored 20/20 for my maths T.O.A C.A.H S.O.H test and topped my whole class!!!! I just got my test results yesterday and I was totally SHOCKED!! Praising

I watched the movie 'I not stupid 2' yesterday, and it's really a very nice show, I learnt some things from it, ask yourself seriously, when was the last time you praised someone? well, you can really do something to a person's day by simply praising him/her, for example I can say, 'hey!! you played so well during the game just now!' just by saying that, that person will feel so happy, I know I would. Everyone likes to be praised!

Another thing I learnt is quite similar to the first one, is to focus on other people's strong and good points rather than always or most of the time focusing on their bad points, cuz when I do that, both that person and I will be happy! cuz he'll feel like at least someone notices my good points, I should do more next time, and I wouldn't get irritated by his/her bad side!

Now, I am slowly beginning to praise people and focus on their good points rather that their bad points!

Living For Jesus

I always say that I will die for Jesus, and used to write 'From this God I was made, for this God I will fight!', if you look at the meaning of this phrase, from this God I was made, means that I was made from this God, which also says that He is my creater, and for this God I will fight, means that I will make my stand for Him and will defend Him when people bad - mouths Jesus.

Then yesterday, I was going back home with two of my good friends, Aaron and Davis, and we were all talkin about some staffs, then Aaron told us about one of his encounters with God, he is always saying that he loves Jesus and will die for Him, and God asked him, if one day you are threatened to keep your live and deny Jesus or stay loyal to Him and die, what would you do?

Ha if you encounter that, what would you do? would you deny Jesus to live on? or would you really die for Him? Of course the right answer would be I want to die for Him then deny Him, but think of it carefully, if your answer is still I want to die for Jesus then good, but if it is I would rather deny Jesus and live on, but if you want to change that then you got to really seek God and build up your Spirit Man and relationship with God.

I had this encounter once, afew months back, quite long ago, and I failed to defend God, I felt very sad and it really hurt my heart that I failed as my God died for me and I can't even defend Him, so I repented and seek Him, I believe that the next time I encounter this, I will take my stand for God and not make the same mistake again, I may have fallen, but every time I fall, I take it as another chance to pick myself up and not fall again, after all, I am human, it's okay to fall, but it is what I do after I fall that is important.

About Me!!!

You think I was a good student? Hah!

YO! hahah Eugene here, from Heart of God Church, I grew up there and my parents are both christians!! That was why they brought me to this GREAT church when I was 5 years old as our pastor, pastor How invited them. And I am always very energetic and ill disciplined. haha some people used to call me a church mouse! because most of the time I will be staying in church cause both my parents are doing ministries. But no matter how good a church I am in, it is still about me and I didn't like comin to church at all! can you believe it? So I will always grumble on Sundays.

And all started to change at around the end of last year, when suddenly I just got a very strong passion to love God! So I decided to really worship God on the following Sunday and God touched me, and from then on, my life was totally changed, I am more mature now and not so irritating anymore hahah I am serving in the usher ministry, on the worship team, birthday ministry in my team and under great discipleship!

IF GOD CAN CHANGE MY LIFE, HE CAN CHANGE YOURS TOO! AMEN?!

The Lonely Scarecrow

My poor bones - I've only two
A broomstick and a broken stave
My ragged gloves are a disgrace
My one peg-foot is in the grave

I wear the labourer's old clothes
Coat, shirt and trousers all undone
I bear my cross apon a hill
In rain and shine, in snow and rain

I cannot help the way I look
My funny hat is full of hay
O, wild birds, come nest in me!

Wow! The Leadership Seminar really, really impacted me! I learnt alot of things I am goin to another level in God. I wan to rise up and and be a leader for God as well!! I've made the choice to follow God forever! and nothing in the world will turn me away from Him, I will always be loyal to Him and my leaders! WATCH OUT DEVIL, A GREAT LEADER OF GOD IS RISING UP!!! I will soar like the eagle.
